Hi, I’m Shadrach! Did you know: Congress is called the branch closest to the people. It’s where the things you care most about (think: healthcare, taxes, cost of living, jobs... basically, your livelihood) actually get decided, and you get the chance to vote for your members of Congress this election season. This guide won’t tell you who to vote for, but it will help you show up informed and prayerful, without losing your mind about it.

Who you are voting for, and why this year matters.
Congress
Senators are elected to six-year terms, with ⅓ of the Senate up for election every two years. That’s 33 seats on the ballot this November.
Representatives in the House are elected to two-year terms. All 435 districts in the U.S. House of Representatives are up for grabs every two years.
State offices
State executive offices up for election in 2026 include 36 gubernatorial seats, 31 lieutenant gubernatorial seats, 30 attorney general seats, and 28 secretary of state seats. Including down-ballot races, there are 300 state executive offices up for election across 43 states in 2026.

How to play
- All sixteen tiles belong to exactly one group of four. Every puzzle has one solution.
- You get four mistakes. A wrong guess uses one, and the dots below the board show what’s left.
- “One away” means three of the four you picked do belong together.
- A solved group locks to the top of the board. The lighter its colour, the easier it was meant to be, so the darkest group is the trickiest.
- Shuffle rearranges the tiles, which often helps you see a group. Deselect all clears your picks.

A prayer for election season
Lord, we enter this election season asking for wisdom, not anxiety. Help us to be informed neighbors, faithful citizens, and people whose hope is rooted not in any candidate or party, but in you. May we vote our conscience with humility. May we hold our opinions with open hands. And when November comes and goes, may we remember that you are still on the throne.
