The British Crown is in town ‘til Thursday.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are on a four-day state visit—the first by a British monarch since 2007—marking 250 years since “we the people” declared independence from the mother country.

President Trump and first lady Melania welcomed the royals to the White House Monday for a cuppa and a ramble (featuring a White House-shaped beehive), and yesterday Charles addressed a joint meeting of Congress with a speech calling the U.S.-U.K. relationship “one of the greatest alliances in human history.”
