The NBA Finals are set, and the Champions League crowned its champion.

The San Antonio Spurs dethroned the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder with a 111-103 Game 7 road win Saturday as (a very weepy) Victor Wembanyama took home the series MVP. With OKC failing to repeat, a new team will raise the Larry O'Brien trophy for a record eighth straight year. The Spurs return to the Finals for the first time in 12 years and host the Knicks Wednesday for Game 1 of the 1999 NBA Finals rematch.

Paris Saint-Germain, however, did repeat, beating English Premier League champion Arsenal 4-3 in a penalty shootout Saturday to remain kings of the European pitch—the first back-to-back title since Real Madrid’s threepeat in 2016-18. Celebrations in Paris turned violent with 400+ arrests and tear gas deployed.
