The NFL welcomed 257 new faces this weekend.

The 2026 NFL draft wrapped up in Pittsburgh Saturday with a record 800,000+ fans celebrating the selections over three days (see how analysts rank each team’s picks). The Raiders kicked off the offseason’s Super Bowl by taking Heisman-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza, and the Jets snagged outside linebacker David Bailey. With the third pick, Arizona more-than-liked Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, making him just the third top-three running back selected since 2012.

59 passcatchers (WRs and TEs) snagged roster spots, the most since the NFL moved to a seven-round format in 1994.

The Denver Broncos made University at Buffalo linebacker Red Murdock this year’s Mr. Irrelevant—the bittersweet moniker given to the draft’s final pick—who set an FBS record with 17 career forced fumbles.
