Our Beliefs
We’re Christians who engage with the news of the day and point you to the best news of all time.
We’re not pastors or scholars. Our goal isn’t to be anyone’s sole source of spiritual direction, and we believe that spiritual discussion surrounding current events is handled better face-to-face with fellow believers who you know and who know you.
Our Christian commentary is brief and foundational, repeatedly highlighting God’s character and reinforcing four fundamental Christian principles we’ve found to be common pitfalls in our own lives (learn more). We have no denominational affiliation and seek to be a resource for the whole church.
While our comments on the faith are brief, our gospel convictions run deep. They shape our view of the world and motivate our commitment to fairness and integrity. They’re the bedrock of our lives and our content.

God
We believe in one God, Creator of everything, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, glorious and full of love.
The Bible
We believe that God has spoken through the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments. His inspired word should be believed in all it teaches, obeyed in all it requires, and trusted in all it promises.
The Human Condition
We believe that God created man and woman in his image; we believe all humans have inherent dignity and are made for a relationship with him. But humankind is broken by sin and alienated from God, justly under his wrath. Only through faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ can we be healed.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God, and fully man. He died for our sins on the cross, was raised bodily from the dead, sits at the Father’s right hand, and will return as judge and king.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and unites believers to Christ, making us new and empowering holy living.
The Church's Mission
We believe that all who believe in Christ have been united by the Spirit and called to proclaim the good news and engage in good work as God’s ambassadors.
The Future
We believe that Christ will return, and God will raise the dead and judge the world. Those who are apart from Christ will be eternally separated from him, and those who love him will live and reign with him forever in the new heavens and new earth.
See the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed for a summary of our faith that is much older, more eloquent, and theologically robust.
We pray that our mission always furthers his kingdom. To God be the glory!
